A state law has changed
Send the state, the section and, if you have it, the bill or act number with its effective date. When a legislature amends a tint limit, the new figure often takes effect some time after the vote. We read the new text, update the state record and date the change.
A result looks wrong
Tell us the state, the vehicle type and the percentages you entered. If you have a meter reading, send it too: it helps us see whether the gap comes from the glass, the film label or the law.
What we cannot do
We cannot contest a ticket, issue an exemption or tell you what a court will decide. Please do not send your plate number, license number or address.
